What was the highlight of L'Fisher Hotel Bacolod

Pleasant

It is a large hotel in town so does have more amenities onsite. They also in the end helped me score access to the MassKara festival and that was main point of visiting.

Long lines if you need to ask questions. WiFi is poor, rooms are dated for the price, and the staff could never give me a consistent answer to questions or other tips. Customer service could be considered lacking from international standpoint but locals may take these nuances as normal. The pool bar restaurant they let me sit for 30 minutes and I had to go up and ask them if I could order. Skip the food here and go outside for something more tasty.

The hotel and its facilities shows its age. It wasn't the hotel I used to remember. The other room was upgraded to a more modern and nicer room.

Housekeeping and restaurant staff were great. Good location. Spacious rooms.

Everything was great except no bellman showed up to help us with our suitcases even after calling the front desk twice and waiting for more than 30 minutes.

After a few hiccups, managed to get a room that was more to my liking.Management is accommodating and easy to work with. Pool staff is amazing as is the breakfast crew.

1st room was not appealing at all....manager Vashti, made sure I was accommodated with a more appropriate accommodations...thx

Overall is good. Only the room we stayed in isn't nice. The room smells sweat when we come in.

I like the food and the ambient.

The room floor carpet needs to be updated. It's old and smells bad. Walls need to be repainted.

Location: unbeatable

The bathrooms were filthy. Mold and mildew in the bath tub and shower curtain which was yelllowed with use. I asked them to change the curtain to a new one and they did — but just to a cleaner one. I think manangement should prioritize cleanliness because this is also what draws people to come back. Breakfast buffet was so-so. The dining area was always packed with people so the floors were sticky with food and sauce. Sadly, this iconic Bacolod hotel needs a major face lift. We visited Seda to have cocktails at their Roof top bar and I regreted not Shelling out the extra Php 1k per night when deciding which properly to stay in.

Pool area very good, breaky ok, staff friendly in general.

Room was not up to standard, old, lots of wear and tear in the bathroom. When going to the pool area, the carpet in the alleyway between the 2 hotels had an extremely bad smell. Check out not up to speed, took a very long time and at the end no invoice was provided, staff not very helpful at that moment. Value for money not ok. Won't return.

Location - okay, restaurants and convenience store nearby Employees were pleasant and very helpful

The hotel is poorly managed and dirty. Poor hygiene standards - dirty tub, tub drain clogged with hair Housekeeping standards - the tub was not cleared once, the following day, trash was not taken out. Vanity kit is not consistently refilled, same with coffee station. Renovation happening - you get informed upon checkin, they could do better by emailing you ahead. Not recommended for those who want to sleep during the day or past 8am. Wifi got interrupted once.

Perfect hotel for staycation with family and friends. Near with the famous and delicious cake shop Calea. Very friendly, helpful and accommodating staff and very safe place to stay. Very comfortable room and nice bed. Worth the money!

They don't have enough seats at the lobby and few choices of food for the buffet.

What was the highlight of L'Fisher Hotel Bacolod

Very impressed with the foyer and the restaurant. The rooms were quiet and comfortable. The breakfast had a great selection that catered for every different possible taste. The first day I arrived I was suffering from jetlag and a little travel sickness so spent the whole day recovering without any interruption. My friend was able to meet others in their family and enjoyed time in the restaurant. The best hotel in Bacolod, and the price for 2 nights (which was less than half the price of 1 night in an equivalent hotel at home) made this extremely good value.

The bath wasn't cleaned so just had shower instead of a relaxing bath. The rest of the bathroom was spotless, but the chrome plating on the fixtures was tired and was wearing a little thin.

The breakfast is superb, the best we had yet in Bacolod and the rooms are very spacious.

A surprisingly big deposit is requested upon check-in. Not really convenenient for people who have to pay it in cash.

Rooms are so outdated, dirty, even found used bathroom supplies that was previously used by other guest/s. Need major improvement and training for staff development and customer service. On a positive note, dining staff customer service somewhat par other hotels worldwide with 3-star rating hotels.
